Watch our comprehensive video guide below on How to Use An XRF Metal Analyzer. Learn essential operation steps, from power-on and calibration to accurate sample testing and report generation. Master your device quickly for precise results.
Power on the machine and open the associated software.
Allow for a 10-minute instrument preheating period.
Perform the critical calibration step using a dedicated sample.
Properly place your sample in the detection area.
Securely close the machine cover and press "start" to begin the test.
Wait for analysis results: preliminary data appears in 3 seconds, complete analysis in 30 seconds.
Print or save your final analysis report as needed.
Never start a test if the protective door is not tightly closed, to prevent X-ray leakage and radiation damage.
Avoid frequent power cycles or forcibly cutting power, as this can damage the X-ray tube and mainboard.
Do not use the analyzer in humid, hot, or dusty environments, which can lead to overheating or short-circuits.
Refrain from unauthorized modification of software or calibration data, as this will distort results and may require a factory reset.
Avoid touching the detector window with sharp objects or fingers, as this can cause costly damage.
Never move the sample or open the chamber door during an ongoing test to prevent X-ray exposure and test failure.
Daily: Wipe the outer shell with a clean, soft cloth to prevent dust accumulation.
Before Each Use: Check and clean the test window to ensure it is free of foreign objects or contamination.
Regularly: Clean fans and vents to prevent blockages and overheating.
Environment Control: Maintain room temperature between 15-30°C and humidity below 70% (non-condensing), avoiding moisture or direct sunlight.
Voltage Protection: Use a voltage stabilizer or UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) to protect components from voltage fluctuations.
Operational Care: Avoid prolonged continuous high-load use and ensure the cooling system has regular rest periods for optimal performance and extended lifespan.
